Ok. well. In a new picture i'm drawing. Which i was progressing happily until a problem occured. When i first started the picture. i made a new layer on top of the canvas layer and made base colors for every region of my person. using a digital water color brush [pointed simple water]. And now. going to color the skin i made a new layer pulled out the pointed simple water, eye dropped a color, but when i painted, it made this HUGE white pixely splotch around the aside a good 10px or so from the actualy color of the stroke. HOWEVER, if i go to the basecolor layer. then there is no white fuzz, and it even goes on top of color as if its on a gel setting but WAIT, i can paint white on top of dark colors. layer setting is default, but how come i can paint like this, and WHY isn't there any fuzz. This doesn't make any sense. i made the base color layer same way i made every other layer and did nothing special to it but it just seems to be....special.

Can anyone please help me with this problem. Its eating me alive.
Thanks.
Luca.

Using the Digital Watercolor's Pointed Simple Water variant, you'll get white edges around the brushstrokes if the Diffusion slider is set somewhere above 0%, the higher the setting the wider the white around the brushstroke will be.

If the Layer is set to Composite Method Gel, the white edges won't be visible, or, if you paint only above the white Canvas, they won't be visible. To see the white edges if you've painted above the white Canvas, close the Canvas' Eye icon and make sure the Layer is set to Composite Method Default.
