Sweet color choices, kind pastel-ish, which I think is a good thing.

Crits:

- it took me a second or two to figure out that her arm in the background was her arm and not her back. I'd recommend making that particular shade of gray darker than her back to avoid that confusion.

- since this is a side view of her torso, it seems a wee bit thick. Maybe giving us a partial of her other breast would help give her torso some dimension rather than a straight-on profile?

- her vest / jacket isn't casting any shadow on her figure.

- very cool texturing on her hair, but unfortunately, it's making it seem a bit plastic-like when it comes to her hairline.

- her forearm is noticeably thicker than her bicep, not sure if it's foreshortening at work, but usually unless it's majorly exaggerated to the point of no confusion, it can be misleading.

- the lighting seems to be coming from the top left, yet the lighting on her sword is from the bottom right. Intended? I dig the sword design though!

- awesome shading on her leggings. ^^

- the folding of the waist-tie seems a bit odd. The way the folds sharply curve inwards suggests a sort of cavity underneath, but I'm sure that's not what you were going for? It could just be me though.

Keep it up!

Agreed ... will be changed.

Agreed ... im not that good with anotomy yet ... knew something was wrong, didnt know what... hmm.. need reference.

Bleh =p ... mmm ...wanted to do the shadow thing. couldnt really figure out how the shadow goes... cos the vest is kinda close to her body... im not good wit shadows either..

hehehehe .. not good at hair either.

nod nod... even tho im not that good with anotomy, i dont usually make such mistakes... i guess in my haste to finish this piece i overlooked that major flaw.. my mistake. :chug:

Aye, intended.. =] its one of those magic type swords. was gonna make it glow, but thats a bit much i think.

- awesome shading on her leggings. ^^

thank youu :D

No problem, Andromeda. ^_^

Forgot to mention this earlier, great attention to detail on her shoulder spikes and their cast shadow.

As far as references, they're always a great idea if you plan on doing complex poses. I know my character drawing improved just after reading through some anatomy books, which reminds me, I think I'll do just that tonight.

Keep practicing, and I look forward to seeing your revisions and new stuff! :D
