I had a guest today and..

I've got him on paper - realy nice & funny old man (scientist).

He once said to me: "Only healthy people die - the ill ones take care of themselfs" (i don't know if it makes any sense in english)

This is the first portrait I do (except my own and my broher's you might already know) So.. crit me HARD :D

Wow Oblio, comparing this to those first drawings you posted, I must admit you've done some tremendous jumps! I'm not sure if I can give advice on this one, I'm not very good at line drawings, but you seem to be shaping your future well on your own. You're doing it Oblio! :chug:

wow, oblio, you have have improved so much in such a short time. this one is just great. only problem: i think ithe mouth may be on a slant in comparison with the trest of his features, at the moment it lloks like the left side (HIS left) of his mouth is a lot lower than the right

@nil - thank you so much - i've noticed after scan. Anyway, i've been drawing him while he was reading something and that mouth didn't hold still a second - he was always mumbleing for himself :mumble:

@[Acid] - it's done in photoshop - my pages in the sketchbook are alittle yellow but the scanner doesn't get it right. It was already shifted to some yelow - I've just made it final. I also have a sort of sepia pencil but it has a very hard tip - hard to use especially when you have to make someone look alike!

Here - definitely a poor drawing but i'll post it anyway.

Oh.. you had to see the circus that came after - uhh.. yes, the eyes are like mine, .. umm.. the nose too.. let's see the ears... yes... hmm.. i don't quite like the mouth and i can't see my dress. I should have put some make up... and maybe my hat. For the next one, ok? :eek:
