background painting alchemist lab

first foray into painting. done for class assignment. guoche and a little bit of colored pencil.

the teach pushed the lighter values up some, and I keep it going in the same direction. I tried to adjust the contrast so the scan looks similar to the actual painting. will work on it to get more definition in the dark areas.

Is that a window or a painting that has the dragon and knight? If it's a painting then I would add a frame. If not then you need more of a glare effect on the window. Over all good job 3/5 stars.
