Ok, so I'm drawing a fanart of Kingdom Hearts 2 for a fanart competition, and I've got a question.

The theme is "KH characters on vacation", and I'm doing a piece of the KH characters on the beach. I'm drawing Kairi as being underneath the umbrella's shadow

Just trying to gauge whether or not she's *too* dark in the image

And obviously I haven't really colored the rest, I'm trying to get this right first. ^^;

wow. The girl is looking really good (better than most super render female characters I've seen). I really like the girl a lot (turn me on:). Her breasts look beatiful and nice overall curve. The only negative thing I see is her left hand and her right thigh needs to be wider .

Well the sand in your image is really bright, so probably you will have some light "bouncing" from the sand around her.
Also I think that a less grey and more blue tone on her shadow will help a lot.
Just my 2c.

the perspective seems off in the piece, the horizonline seems to high up. Also where you have the guys foot abover her head, that too me awhile to figure out what that was, you might want to think about getting rid of it or changing it around a bit.

Couple crits:

I think her head is lopsided, seemingly raises up too high towards the center too much,

also

looking at the lower half of her suit, I don't like it's shape- maybe take a lot of it out and add some folds.

Great start! and btw I love the mickey mouse sun tan lotion :D
