Hello, I don't post very often, but I think this "trail" of concepts might be of some interest. Looking back, I wish I tried to push the design of the character in different directions, but I guess that's a lesson to be applied later. :-) C&C welcome.
Drew a doodle that I liked for one reason or another.

Weeks later I found this image and decided to take it a little further.

Then I decided to try and conceptualize in three dimensions.

And then REALLY go 3-d.... this is the only pic of the model that I have, it shattered in a bumpy car ride. (live and learn, baby!)

"The fall" is a typical fate for villainous characters, so I decided to make a more finished illustration:
