A quick robot sketch scanned in and painted in photoshop. lots of experimentation going on but lots of fun. it may not be considered finished to all but in my line of work its beyond finished. lets hear it 8)

By the way... a little quick info abuot the robot. He is basically a wrecking ball. He is fast and rams into things with his very hard and heavy ball like torso. Lets say he is headstrong.

I like it...the perspective is good! if the legs protrude that far out ahead of him though he can't ram things with his torso/head...
also, I think you should work on it some more or post it as a sketch...it's not really "finally finished" if its just a sketch...but then maybe that's just me.

nice colors and concept :)
the legs are bothering me a bit though - its as if there are some bends along the plane defined by the vertical and forward axis. Whereas the legs should be flush along this plane according to the design.

Main thing bothering me here his composition - it's feeling too boxy, with very few diagonal elements to suggest movement, and it's making the thing feel more rickety and static than fast and reckless. The background colours are the same as the colours on the subject, and it's flattening your image. Work some more blues and greens into the composition.

Lastly, too much hichlights. Select one or two - three at most - that will have a sharp highlight and keep those highlights there. this spread in highlights has left [his] right leg not explained well enough.

It's a really cool concept, and there's a lot you can still do with it. hope this helped - looking forward to seeing more of it!

ciao!
