No, I don’t think there is a difference between the two. Other than the educational license is for educational purposes only…

is that all? i know some programs put a watermark on some images and i just want to make before i tell my friend its alright

No difference whatsoever in the program itself. No embedded watermarks, no restrictions on saving, nothing like that. I think there are copyright restrictions on what you can sell, though. But the program is identical. I use the academic version myself.
