Hi,
This is also my first post on the Conceptart.org forums. All I can say is that this forum has really sparked my interest to learn about what i go to school for :P. Anyways, here are a few pages out of my sketchbook, feel free to butcher them with comments and constructive crits. I have a lot of fun while drawing and learn everytime i pick up the pencil :D Ill try to keep this thread up to date as much as possible.

I really like the sense of volume and shading in your anatomy studies :)

Thx, I was using the book Artistic Anatomy by Paul Richer. I find that book to be the best resource i own so far outside of a life drawing class and life. I have other books but none as encompassing as this.

great studies man- keep busting those. boring to do, yeah, but it'll really show in your work. nice job on the girl's face in the first post too- tough angle to draw. keep on drawing buddy- mileage is key. btw, get out there and crit some people- they'll come check out what you got- crit you- and we'll all grow together like a big happy family hah

the musulature studies and your line work is all so strong. i love the figures towards the bottom of the page. terrific stuff.
sort of a question that goes out to anyone: where do you go for references for muscle studies?

Thx Dr. Inferno, as stated above im using Artistic Anatomy for my musculature anatomy.
UPDATE :D
Ive not had much time to draw for myself the last week, finals suck. Anyways, I pulled myself away from working and went to my open drawing class and had some fun.
The the drawings before the last were done after class while listening to some Jag Panzer XD and the last was done on a bus b4 falling asleep.

Just some studies for today

those studies are looking really good man. sometimes the anataomy is looking a little off like in this one http://conceptart.org/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=21057&stc=1&d=1157744175. the lower leg on the one bending is looking a tad long. to help not getting that wrong, compare some angles. look at the angle his shoulder is at compared to his heel for example, and make sure your drawing reflects that angle as close as possible. keep at it. a lot of these studies really are looking damn fine.

Sith: Thx, i see what u are talking, his leg is def too long. Im learning to correlate different angles of the body and where contours intersect.
Spats: Thx for the kind words.
Here are some sketches since i last updated. All was drawn with no reference.
