I hate to say this, but it looks like Dorf on War. His knees should be near the top of his boots... and then he should have shins. It also appears that the trapezius slope is about twice what is normal (maybe more) and..well, gosh.. it isn't finished, lens flares aren't as cool as you think they are, and I have no idea what the near guy is doing.

That is a bit too scetchy for the FF section indeed. Even though it were done with mouse.
Proportions are all wrong. (Long neck, smal head, long arms, short legs.)
The white in the middle kills of any other colours in there.
Guy in front doesn't differ from left one valuewise. Although he's in front.
What's actually going on in here?
SRY if that was kinda harsh

If you need refs for uniforms and clothing in Iraq, I have some highres shots. There could be a lot more to the figures. I kinda get whats going on here. I lot of the brushes still look initial and it could be defined.

Ugh, learn anatomy, learn composition, learn painting, learn colour, learn to finish things, (get a Wacom), practice, practice, practice, THEN think about posting in this section.
Sorry for being harsh but I'm sick of this.

No need for wacoms, pencils and paper are all one needs to learn with.

On a positive note, I kindof like the abstract feeling of the sunlight.
On a constructive note: Do study anatomy more. You'll enjoy it. I recommend Andrew Loomis' books (you can find them floating on the 'net), especially Figure Drawing For All It's Worth

I don't see how those sketches reflect your understanding of anatomy...because frankly, "the war on iraq" makes it look like you have a lot to learn, and that you stole/traced the sketches. Sorry, I hope I'm wrong.

The sketches are okay, but you still need to practice your anatomy. Many of the proportions are off, and the limbs feel disjointed. Keep working.

Even if you did use a mouse, the anatomical errors are pretty huge. (There were errors in the sketches' anatomy too but the mouse drawing ones are biiig.) The left guy's shoulders and legs are way off. And yeah, the lensfares aren't too nice. But nice job on the sketchy colouring.

the sketches look nice, but I do agree about the anatomy, but perhaps more than the anatomy is the proportions and the flow of the figures as well. things are looking stiff, try to loosen up a bit and not worry too much and take your time.
