layers and filters

Hi to all who read this. I am wondering if I can apply a filter to multiple layers simultaneously. Is this possible? Oh, and photoshop rules!

No you can't, however, there may be some scripts out there that would circumvent that little restriction.

can this really be true? i cant believe there is something photoshop cannot do!

No, but you can do this pretty quickly by applying the filter to the first layer and then hitting ctrl-F each time you select another layer you want affected. (Ctrl-F repeats the last filter.)

Hey Toast, if it's a complicated series of filters you can always make an action. Run it on every layer you'd like to apply the filters.
