Damn, that's more than cool. Used to read a lot of Spawn and this is probably one of the best artwork to ever get near that franchise.

Thanks everybody :)

Behemot5 : le premier épisode en français vient de paraître, actuellement dans le numéro 71 du comics régulier Spawn en français sous couverture de Greg Capullo (Semic)

The first picture is totally digital

For the comics it's little more "traditionnal" (pen, ink and colors), but I've tried to keep a "painted rendering"...
I've done everything from layout to color

The last one is hand-painted and then digitally re-work. I've done it to try something a little bit different...

And because it's my first real comic-book, I hope what will follow will be better...A lot of things still to learn

:)

Acrylic ( I used thin and thick paint for the different parts of the picture) AND mixed media ( photograph of a skull I've got at home, photoshop to correct the picture and repaint some parts)
I've tried sonething a little new, to go faster...

cool shit!

A nice change from that over abused gradiated colouring that's in almost every comic nowadays. Colour is nice but when I see all different comics that look the same I'd prefer black and white. This stands out however.. Can't wait to see it in the stores here!

Good job man!

Thanks for the good feedbacks !!!

I hope the whole printed comic-book will give you the same good impression...Let me know when you'll read it...( feedbacks about the pages, the story, the storytelling...)

marc-pierre : I do both, lineart and inking and also colors...Even the Spawn logo
:)

krayz: Really happy that it looks like that...

Killer Napkins, dARCKLOWN : the last one character (the albino woman) is a speedpainting but not the last Spawn illustration. Even if I did it faster, it took me some long hours

Carnifex : thanks for the effort :D

You all give me the energy to do a better stuff
Thanks so much !!
