Hi all.

First off. I have been lurking for a while and I am so impressed with some of the work I have seen on these boards! Best of luck to all of you in the future...

I moderate a screenwriting forum and hate spam but I assure you this isn't. Anyway. Here's my problem.

I am a struggling screenwriter. Sure I have won some awards and done some small gigs here and there but I am by no means a success-- yet!

I have a really great movie screenplay I am trying to get sold, either as a film or a graphic novel and there has been some interest up till now but it needs a little marketing push.

The story, called The Eyes of Mara, it has a classic feel of an old Rudyard Kipling action adventure story, like "Gunga Din" or "Man who would be King," but amped up for todays comic fan and high energy audiences who love films like "Pirates of the Caribbean" or "The Mummy."

The Eyes of Mara takes place in 1890's British Colonial India and has a young British Soldier and his rag tag platoon teaming up with Peasant Rebels to rescue his kidnapped fiance' from Hindu Vampires hell bent on performing a sacrifice to bring forth the Hindu demon Mara.

I am in the process of creating a website and printed sketch book to send out to producers with character designs, artwork, illustrations, storyboards, mock ads, etc... The website will even have a few online games to play. It will be fun and more important memorable.

I need great artists like yourselves to create material for both the website and the sketch book. I have a few artists working on it now but I want a lot more.

So...

If your interested in expanding your portfolio and helping a poor screenwriter in creating something memorable, let me know and I'll send you the script to read. If interested then, we can talk about what you can add to the book or site whether it be sketches or finished art.

Just to warn you, there is no money, but I will gladly link your work to your site, email or contact info on both the website and printed piece and you'll get a finished and professionally printed copy of the sketch book as well.

Check out my links below as well as the proposed rough cover design.

And to the moderator of this forum, if you feel it is appropriate, please link this announcement to the other boards in here if you wish.

Thanks again.
