Nice. I wish I could draw technical stuff in the same amount of detail and accuracy as you can, but I would like to see some of these coloured or rendered. Keep it up!

great perspective and plane reads. Even though, as an indus. designer, you'll be focusing all forms to this kind of representation, you should really do more from nature. Ultimate teacher. Figures can also figure. Much of Michelangelo's architecture recalls the male nude. Keep at it.

very nice tech man :D your perpective is very good, seems like youve gotten the hang of that quite well! Anyway, keep experimenting with colour! play around with some texture brushes in PS, or even better try out some traditional mediums!

keep it up :D

Ah, thats the kinda stuff I like to see! :D

You've got very nice thumbnails here, with good perspective and a good style as well. One thing I noticed though is that your edges tend to be pretty simple most of the time. Try putting some bevelled or rounded edges here or there to break up your shapes a bit and make the lineart more interesting.

Looks good. seems like the less exagurated the perspective, the better. Also looks like you're having fun. I usually think of perspective drawing as hard work keep it up. i love this kind of stuff, so i'll be back :)

The designs are all rather redundant, like the rectangular wings http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f301/mbetteker/tech6.jpg. The shape of those wings aren't particularly interesting, you'll have to give them a very unusual arrangement to get any effect out of them. Also these tend to all be one or two man transports, I'd like to see more variety, like heavy tanks or sleek highspeed machines. That's another thing, it's sometimes not clear what the machine is designed for: transportation, hauling, fighting, recreation?. Other times I have no idea what the thing is http://i50.photobucket.com/albums/f301/mbetteker/new24.jpg, a back massager? The only advice I have would be to do more research on various types of vehicles, and design with more attitude, make them look tough, fast, or sexy, have them communicate some specific feeling. The walking robots are your most successful designs.

I stand by what I said about the walking robots. I can imagine how this thing would move. What I like about these walking machines is that they have hints of their mechanical components, like the hydrolic leg, the vehicles tend to have their mechanics hidden so they look like a arrangement of forms instead of machines. It's like the difference between old school choppers, and newer bikes where all the parts are hidden underneath the chassy.

Armando, thanks for the kick in the ass. Really, up to this point i have just been drawing the aircraft without much thought... just drawing em for the sheer fun and mainly for practice. It helps me alot when giong back and drawing products, plus its a good fun warm up. But i am beginning to have more fun when thinking of them as more in depth vehicles and each having their own particular use or uses. thanks man...

Yeh! I like tech stuff! So nice to get away from the endless parade of nudies.

You want to make some stuff that will kill people? Make it more and more complex my friend, that is your answer.

I'm a huge fan of anything technical. This are fantastic. Love the designs. I'm thinking maybe start to use more variation in your perspective... different views, etc. Something to change it up a bit. Great work!

Your overall shapes look intersting. Although they have a cartoonish something to them.
I think it would help if you looked at fotographies from big sizes machines to get an eye for details (bolts, plates, switches, you know)
Hope it helps.

I like tech work.
The marker stuff is good.
Have you heard of prismacolour pencils? They add a lot of texture to you work, and contrast as well.

a few more line drawings. it seems the markered ones are prefered over the line drawings. i would agree, its to render these things takes some time, which is not something i have when im doodling. but, im gonna keep markering when i can.

I LOVE your work man! I'm trying to draw vehicles and what not in the same style as you are. Let me ask you something, do you try to map out every single item, or do you just "wing it" on certain elements? I find that when I try to map out every little thing I just get lost in all those lines and I end up stymying myself.

Do you set up vanishing points, or do you just guess at their locations like Scott Robertson and the gang likes to do? This is something that I try to do, but I can't get a consitent result with the convergence of the lines.

I want to try doing doing stuff with pen, like you recommended, as well with markers.
