beware of T's when modeling (an intersection of 3 edges to one vertex)- if you upres/tesselate it some 3d programs will produce some weird geometry - quads are preferable.

looking good so far, maybe the shoulder is to round and you`ve three of four edgeloops for the ribcage at the bottom of it. try to divide them evenly.
the proportions looking real good :) are you planning some armor stuff, too?

yeah hes gonna have a shitload of accessories like armor, coat, hat, belts, straps, guns, holsters, rifle on back. my inspiration comes from several characters, the father from the boondock saints, Briareros from the movie appleseed, solid snake form metalgear, M. bison from streetfighter, and hellboy. i'll post some concepts soon.

i hope you`ve the punch to finish your project. it sounds realy nice.
i don`t know what for a machine you use, but if it`s an older one you should`nt spend to much detail for the body if you later put the armor above. cloth and armor is realy, realy poly and perfomance eating if you´re using the solid chamfer method.

so keep cool and plz post your updates >:D
