Hi, I´m no thinking that it sucks ... it´s easy getting down when you´re looking at some of the art here on the forum. I personally really like the choice of colours and the execution of the them.

I think you coloured the scanned lineart with PS, didn´t you? This has been the method of my choice when I started CG ;), too. This is completely o.k. have a look at landmates work here on the board he´s working with strong lines, too. What doesn´t covince me is the face. You´ve go strong lines all over but the nose/lips area seems to be made completely with an aribrush-tool. I think this doesn´t really fit into the neat style you´ve done in the rest of the picture.

Another smaller thing that comes into my mind is that you could have worked out the bone and muscular structures in the torso a little more. With a woman so slim you would see more of the rib-structure and the shoulder bone (Claviculi ? Haven´t got the anatomical vocabulary at hand :D).

Otherwise a really fine picture - I would like to see more of you.

Welcome to the vampiric world of online forums. My favorite is the face. Very subtle but beleivable. The hair are a bit of a shock having been left untouched. Even if they're white, they're bound to have some suggested shadows/texture.
Carefull with the mirroring of some of your elements ;)
The background is simple as well but I like it. I think you could do some really interesting stuff if you push further in your next pieces.

just a small question, i know most people that want to committ suicide cut their wrists like that, but i believe the correct way is to cut them along the forearms.....? just a small question since most movies and people do actually cut them like you have them, i guess more of a philosophical thing with me........welcome to the boards, and keep up the great work

I personally like the soft face, although I do see what you're getting at Filpse.
I find her palms are a bit pillowy, looking like they belong to someone not so skinny.
As for the cuts on her wrists, c cody is right. it truely commit to your suicide one would have to make the cuts parallel with the arms rather then perpendicular and further up the arm.
(I'm no sadist! I've just watched "The Royal Tennenbaums" last night:) )

Very strong graphical composition, and the theme is rather unsetteling. Try to work away from you line work, in some areas (like the fingers or the hair) the line work is very distracting. And don't write "it sucks...." cause it doesn't, and even if it did we are all here to get better! :D

wow thanks. yea i didn't know the "right way" of wrist slashing until it was too late, found out right after i posted the image. oh well...

and also, i've been trying to work away from having those coloring-book-style lines in a PS painting for a long time now, its not easy... :(
