Hmm i know, i am not really good, but thats the reason i post here after a long long time i watch just the other sketchbook with faszination ^^ (sry for my germanlike faults :bashful: )

So a few works of mine ... i'll begin with the oldest one and work me to the newst^^. I know the most critical faults in this pictures, i think but don't no a good way to get through it ... (i should say, thats i am pretty young with 17years and just draw in school [for fun] ... oh i should also point out that i never draw an existing thing ... mostly i draw just what i think)

http://img118.imageshack.us/img118/9862/abstraktcopy2ld6.jpg

Yeah thats one of the old one ... the idea i think is really interessting .. but the drawing doesn't work >_<

http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/72/suizidcopy2ov2.jpg

O if someone want to know it ... i a little gothic-emo-evil-poser-kiddie (for real i am a gothic ... but doesn't matter, does it?)

http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/1769/thief23vk5.jpg

If someone going to ask ... NO he's not sitting >_< damn ... i know i had should draw it in a other way >_<

http://img80.imageshack.us/img80/4704/necro23zg1.jpg

This is a necromancer and one of his friends^^ ... the shading is a little bit stupid ... its hard to seperat the figure from the background ... >_<

http://img328.imageshack.us/img328/8232/gorgoninberarbeitetxz7.jpg

This is a picture i'll never bring it to the end ... at the begining it should be a pic for my girlfriend, but after she's my exgirlfriend i find no motivation to start the drawing again

http://img146.imageshack.us/img146/7046/nafo200123jf6.jpg

This is one of the few pics i really draw more than a forgroundfigure ... but the face, nose and the hand doesn't work, i think...

http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/6517/headwegberarbeitetyq9.jpg

this is one of the newest i think ... don't ask for the sence in it :D

http://img206.imageshack.us/img206/1121/popartberarbeitetga8.jpg

This thing i make in the artlesson i dont often work with color ... and the colors are where cheap >_<

@White Rose: Oh i know that i have many errors by practizice (or something) my anatomyknowlegde (, which is not the greatest) ... i have think about to visit a akt-drawing-lesson to draw from realistic people ...
until jet i just draw how i remeber to the real world ...
____________________

I've begun the last night to draw until jet and i think i should collect some help before i draw it finally to the end ...

Some Questions: how to draw the middle of a woman .. near by the leg under the waste ... (i don't know how its called in english^^)

Do u know some detials, i can add for more realistic and creative look?

Do u see other things i can change easiely?

I remember ... the pic isn't shaded ;)

geil sketchbook ;), but you need to work on anatomy, texture and tone... the last piece is the best so far, but there are a few anatomical problems, zb. the arms.. keep practicing!

For someone who doesn't draw things from reference you draw amazingly well. I'd recommend you start drawing from life, photographs, how-to-draw books and stuff and you'll probably improve really fast.

I also like how you tend to draw complete scenes instead of just characters floating on white backgrounds. Also you put some imaginitive thought into what you are doing which makes the stuff much more interesting to look at. Now study!

You have talent-use it god dammit!

So it goes on ... I try to draw Bodys ... the face on the right side was a really bad try to draw quick somthin' in the empty space^^ ...but it doesn't matter the whole pic is just a quick drawing to learn the meanfacts from the references^^

Hmm today i'am not happy with my work .. i think i get up after the face doesn't look like i want it to look >_< this was my first try to draw a happy person :D AND the bigest difficult was to draw a woman that is a little bit more darkskined as i draw usualy ... i hate it >_< both .. dark skin and laugh ... (\m/ ;) ) but i finished it ...
I doesn't try to find all faults .. it would be depressing, i think... >_<

Heya!
You have pretty nice values when youre drawing from references!

Try to draw more full figures and make only lines, it will probably help you alot.
Try to use single lightsource photos when rendering (shading) your drawings, you will learn more about the shapes and how to render then.

Keep drawing!

ThXX for the tip ... i think today i found a goodone to draw ... but .. hmm its not perfect .. (how it could be expected >_<) ... but i've found some fun to draw somethin' different in the background^^, yes i'am just bored!

http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/9923/studies03uf7.jpg

@the figures with only lines: I think i should do this at school next week ... draw some of my teachers ... i want to use the time @ home to draw from ressources ... it would be much more harder in school to do this^^

August 19th, 2006, 05:10 PM
I try the first real full body to learn, but i'am not realy happy ... the face looks wrong, but i swear the orginal have a thinly face, too >_< .. but it doesn't really work anyway, i think ...

http://img93.imageshack.us/img93/267/studies04se9.jpg

maybe i'll add a background later ... i don't know

Today i must recognize that it is not as easy as i think to draw people in school >_< ... just a few secounds there are able to hold a position >_< ... but some little thinks i try to get drawn ... and i recognize that i've no idea about the mussles, too. Have someone help for me?

Try sketching from life. Use only lines – no shading. Draw quickly what you see. Do this many times, and you will improve.

Nafolux
August 22nd, 2006, 01:44 PM
Hmm your just right, but ... >_< i can't do this that much easy ... i don't know why, but if i try such things, i'll never can finish it before it is really finished >.< ... but i'll try to give it some attempts ... i think i try to practice some dynamic of the body (just with lines), AND i recognize that i still should practice to draw noses ... i find its the hardest and mainpart in the face and i always still not can draw it right..
i like noses a much ... but if it will go on like this i think i'll hate noses soon :D

http://img166.imageshack.us/img166/603/studies06dp5.jpg

hmm i think the whole time about how to learn to draw just in lines with easy shapes and much more quick^^ ... because i often tried it and still can't it like some guys of this forum :( ... I can't really build bodys with it ... but ... maybe it have changed (since yesterday :D)

So it was much more harder than everything i did before i think >.< ... bit it was funny fast in the break between the mathlesson and in the time on guy have to be in the front of the class ... i think in this moment ... "What time do u want to do it, if u dont want it now?"

http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/975/studies07nj7.jpg

the Next day i was just to bored to realy draw such difficult "easy" scetches so i fall back to the scribbling out of my mind ... i just can't let a scences become unfinished >_<

Today i try to draw with a white pencil and ... something like a white textmarker a pic .. i draw it just quick, dont try to get something good, but its looks a little bit interessting^^ ... i just dont like the way position of the pieces of binds ... hmm it schould only symbolize the moving of the guy .. but .. doest matter look on your own...

I have some new stuff from school (third Pic). It shows some of the studiens and a teacher sitting like everyday.

Stuff from the "Alexander Platz" Berlin/Germany (firstPic) a big place, but noone going to hold on for a moment ... it was thatmuch stressing me, so i've gone to draw what i want just to come down (secound Pic) ... ;) how ever ...i'll practizice some more real peoples maybe just to learn, to draw quick but also better :D

Hey there, I saw your work, you've got some great ideas. Your attention to detail on some are amazing, but need to continue to work on your anatomy like the last several posts. Your shading is good, love this one: http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/9923/studies03uf7.jpg

Keep on drawing!

At post 7 you said you were starting to work from photos, I think it really helped you, keep woring from ref.

So a new one is finished ... its a pic i have to draw again but with a feather (could i call it like that? Its when u draw with a deep black pencil and have just black lines ... u know) Because of it i tried to use more simple forms, lines (not that much detailed), and strange contrasts (and "Pencilductus" ... i dont know how to say) ... the hands and the womans body were not good >_<

I've made it to do some new works ... the one is a anatomy studie, where i look on a picture and try to draw it after a day. In this way i tried to check my mind ... it have some faults .. .. the otherone is one of the pics i finished^^ I see many faults ... i think about to fix some things i see now .. but i fear i will make it more worst

I'd tried to work on my shading and facial anatomy or how ever and do this drawing, but it just don't work ... her right eye i change for 5 times i guess ... i hate it and get up to let it become right ... i just don't get it to draw a pic i really like ... this face is maybe more pretty than the last ones ... but it doesn't work, too ... and i think as more as i learn i see the faults more clear ... depressing >_<

I draw it out of my mind ... maybe that's why it doesn't looks right

agreed, if you keep working from ref's, you'll learn how the face/body/.. looks like, and you can search for the things where you might've missed a detail
try to blend working from ref and own idea's at first

good job ;) keep drawing

This pic link to a bigger one on deviantart.

I was long away but know I have some new stuff ... or one new thing to show. It take me a few weeks to do this because its my first try to paint somethink with my new wacom on photoshop. I'm very happy to have this done ... i'm so sick of it now, after hours of hours struggling with different paintingtechnique.

Hope to get more stuff the next days^^
