Angel Light - collaborative work

Actually this wasn't so collaborative, I stole the pencil work from Darkchild and attempted to upgrade it a bit. The original pencils:

While I was visiting Darchild's sketchbook (http://conceptart.org/forums/showthread.php?t=44648) I saw it and simply couldn't resist, I ended up spending a solid 3 hours on it, then it was 5am!

I thought about going back and doing more work on this but it's now been more then a month and I'm doing other pieces and trying to improve.

The veins are creepy, and the body looks more real... otherwise I like the original better. The wings turned cactus-like, and it looks airbrushy, which I personally dislike...

Hrm, wonder why they moved it...? Would be nice if whoever did it posted a reason.

the (pectoral?) muscles aren't even. Her right one is much higher than her left one where it merges with the arm.

The green on the lips detracts in the 2nd one more than anything. Those feathers are too sharp for the soft feeling you seem to be going for.
