Hello everyone, you seem to have a really great site here.

First I'd like to say I'm 19 year old finnish guy, so my english is maybe bit tacky, sorry about that.

So heres seven pictures I've drawn during last few months, I have many others as well, but they are not on my home computer, so these are the only ones I can show now.

Each one of them is hand drawn with pencils and drawing ink (or something like that I don't know the right term in english) The one with the bear an the one with the conquistadors have also been slightly edited with photoshop. The are all done in about 4-6 hours a piece.

I would like to hear as much comments as possible as I'm going to try to get in an art school 9 months from now and would like to improve as much as possible.

Thanks in advance:blahblah:

(Pictures in post #4)

Hey, Jazam! Welcome to CA. Those are some pretty good drawings in your album, but the correct etiquette here is to post drawings directly onto the forums, not links to other websites. The easiest way to do that is to get yourself a photobucket account, upload your pics, then copy and paste the image codes into your posts. You can also post attachments, but I've never done that and don't really know what it is, so I can't help you there.
Hope you like it here.

cool stuff, I think the one witht he bear is the strongest one. The attention spent on it's snarling mouth almost makes you feel that you can hear him roaring. Good stuff! :)

There we go. Here's some crits for ya.
I like the skewed angle of the first drawing, but I think you could have pushed the perspective more, since the top of the doorway is basically the same width as the bottom. It'd make the picture more dynamic, I think.
Anatomy issues with the bear. Its head is too big, its snout is pointing up a little too much, and that row of teeth doesn't go along with either the bottom jaw or the top jaw. It looks like he just has a vertical row of teeth lining his throat. That could be a good idea, if you want to make him some sort of dire bear or something, but you'll also want to add teeth in the correct places too. Doing an image search for roaring bears would be helpful.
On the third picture the figure's forearms and shins seem a little small and skinny, and there's some anatomy issues of the guy with the bare head. His neck just doesn't seem right.
Third one is looking good, except maybe a little too dark.
Your cars are easily your best. My only crit with them is that some of the lines look a bit timid and crooked. It's better than anything I'd be able to do with a marker, though.
Good work, and lots of potential.
