Hey all, I NEED HELP! There is alot of work to be done and I cannot do it alone. Our game, Planetside shipped last week and we are quickly working on retention goodies.

www.planetside.com

Things that would be of interest to my art director would be:

someone who is fast, good at design
someone who works on environments/arhcitecture, props, and vehicles
and although there is no character work slated in the near future, if you have a knack at that it would be a +

Other plusses would be some knowledge of 3dMAX and texturing abilities. This is a fun project, since this stuff is renetion oriented your work will quickly go from concept to in-game.

Please contact

He is well aware that I posted this here, so feel free to contact him.

I love the game, and if i wasn't swamped i would jump on the chance to apply (always more time in the future since i have a feeling the game will have staying power). However i was curious if this was in-house concept artists you were looking for, or if location of the artist was an issue?

We need an in-house concept artist. Believe me, if I could be living in LA and doing this from there, I would be!

^^^haha you'd be suprised. I used to live in both Austin and LA myself. From the time I found out about my current job to when I acutally moved here was the sum of about 2 weeks. The drive from LA is a little long, but its only 9 hours from Dallas and 12 from the Austin area .
