Some futuristic toys for the jungle fighting boys, these mechanical arms allow troops to swing from trees, much like a monkry might, giving them a significant edge in terms of speed, suprise, and superior positioning. They are not so great for accurate firing.

Well, my first post ever... I've been around for quite a while... well,... a very looong while... But I just couldn’t get myself to post anything.
That's kinda why this piece sucks so much, I just needed to get started, no matter how...

So, excuses apart, I know its all messy and out of proportion (left arm, right leg...), I'll try and fix that in future posts (if I can keep myself posting, which is gonna be hard)... Done in graphite pencil (B and 3B) in about an hour and a half (took my time, I know, but it's hard to draw fast while lying in bed using a pencil that's smaller than your pinky).

ok, second go...

i don't care how much he hangs about on ceilings - if he eats that many burgers he's gonna need bigger y-fronts.

I wish that my room had a floor;
I don't care so much for a door.
But this walking around
Without touching the ground
Is getting to be quite a bore.
(Gelett Burgess, 1866-1951)

I thought I'd try something different, so this was done with my Wacom in ArtRage, somewhere under half an hour. Yeah, it sucks, but I count the fact that I did anything at all as a personal victory. ;)

Wow, guys, thanks a lot! Vulgar', I'm flattered :) Took me like 3 or 4 hours though, so it's not really fair. I really need to speed up.

I really like Mitze's, I think the contrast and form are excellent!

Hello all. This is my first participation, woo.
Did the image in about an hour in painter and photoshop.
If you have a comment, please do not hesitate!

Thanks sandworm. Your piece looking good. Great work on a tough angle and Crustacean one rocks aswell.

I took my time on my one to me a sketch or speed paint is anything i can get done in one sitting.

Just done a few of these DSG and they are great for getting ideas and experimenting and not getting bogged down with detail. Should be here to stay.
