Yes. I really really really love redline critiques because I am NOT good with written critiques. Not that they offend me, but I have a hard time grasping what it is that needs fixed. I'm sure some of you understand what I mean.

Yes that's supposted to be a horrible excuse for a tree in the background. Anyway. This is my character 'Rapytur'. A winfal dragon. I'm not sure what she's doing there.

Her wings aren't shown and I'm a bit too intimidated to draw them to be honest.

I'm also unsure about how to color it, but time will tell.

I hope to recieve some good replies before tomarrow (Friday) night.

Thanks for the crits and congrats for making a lovely community!

PS: Yes that is a bandana on her neck. The 'orb' is where an hourglass will go. The coloring is basically marking placement for me to remember. ;)

Unfortunately, there's not a lot to redline here, at least from what I can see. The tree clearly needs some work, but you already know that. And the only thing you seem like you'd have a lot of issues with is the wings...which aren't there yet. I think you need to add a bit more to the background before much can be said critique-wise. Right now this picture is pretty neutral - it could turn out good or bad, but there's nothing to indicate which way it'll go.

i cant redline anything yet but id suggest better defining the dragon and laying out all the base sketching. start sketching the wings [whether it scares you or not] and we'll then have something to red line and maybe help you get the wings just the way you want 'em. also, the dragon's face doesnt really look ilke a dragon, it looks more like a kitten with big ears. Lay out the entire sketch and dont worry about the color & details yet, cuz right now its just an idea in your head and no one can see that but you - JAG
