Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to tell you that Entertainment Art Academy is now hosting online classes and events!!! Doesn’t matter where you live, you have the chance to learn from the elite. Our first online event is with Robh Ruppel, Disney Art Director. He will be demonstrating digital painting from a live model.
We also have two DVDs in our library, John Nevarez Design and Storyboard Elements by Sherm Cohen. Check out the site at www.enterartacad.com

Mr.Mattesi, are you still working on that full 3 year curriculum program? If you are, could you provide more information about it?

yes we are actually. It has gone through some improvements though. IT will be a six term program in a year and a half. Before, we were going to do the six terms in 3 years, two terms a year. Further investigation shows students want to go through and go get a job. So, you will be in an intensive program for a year and a half intead. We will focus on entertainment art for games, animation, film and comics. We will also assist you in creating your own IP. Our cost will be around half of the major art schools in the country and class sizes willl not be as large.

Digital Figure Painting
August 13th
11am-3pm
Robh Ruppel will demonstrate the classic art of figure painting in this one-day workshop. The classic salon approach will be discussed and shown in depth. The careful understanding of planes and form will be analyzed as well as light, halftone and shadow. What makes this workshop unique is that it will all be digitally. The old meets the new in this one-day event.

Entertainment Art Academy opens for Fall Registration!
EAA starts its Fall classes on Sept 11th! Come see all the exciting production based and traditional art classes we have to offer. This term we will be launching ONLINE classes and events! Live anywhere in the world and learn from the entertainment industry’s top artistic talent. Either take a full term class or register for an event.
