...drawing. :D I have noticed that my drawing skills when it comes to drawing faces from life is less then adequate. I am striving to improve. Please help me improve. Any crits of things to try, or things to pay attention to. Any example drawings you guys/gals want to post to help exemplify a point. PLEASE DO. I look forward to your help. Here are my sketches since I started a couple of days ago.

First of all, what I find fascinating here is the obvious progression as I scrolled downwards. So the first advice is as always - do more! :D

The first ones feel a little insecure and timid in execution, but gradually they clean up showing some more confidence. I wouldn't do too many strict side views, though, as they can be an easy way out.

If you have the time, I highly recommend doing self portraits. I can not begin to tell you how much I learned fom my batch. There's a sub-forum under Andrew jones' SPotD forum here on conceptart.org you can join up. If you want to learn the structure of the head, I recommend doing greyscale work only.
