I have been debating if I should post for months now... oh well here it goes.

I added a few more along the same theme. The Sunderer is an APC vehicle from SOE Planetside. I was disappointed in the design and balance of the vehicle so I decided to try my hand at making a better one, then two, never got around to finishing the third I had planned.

Any feedback that can help me take these to the next level is appreciated.

Edit 8-5-06: I took down the rendered version. They don't need to be in here.

These are very slick. I agree with beanbag, I want to see more. Good job.

Those are cool. That colored version reminds of the Transformers. I wanna see a a rendered version of the Tiger Beetle.

armadillo reminds me of the vehicle from aliens, with a more colourful paint job :)

these are nice man, not sure about the colours but the angles and design are sweet

Armadillo colors were picked because the New Conglomerate faction in Planetside are Blue and Gold. I didn't really like the way the gold was going so I went with more orange. My goal with the composition was to try and create one image that communicated the overall design.

The Tiger Beetle was designed for the Vanu a more advanced technology faction. I never got around to doing a PS render of it and started exploring other applications. Although, I got an Intous 3 last night (go go wife!) and I'll start experimenting with some composition ideas.

All the designs where ideated in Sketchup which I recently found and fell in love with. I am still learning, I don't do this stuff for a living and feel like I have woken up from a long sleep and discovered the artist inside.

Thanks!
