Hey everyone, just curious what you think. This is my first post. Drawing is roughly 20" by 50".

The head of the woman sitting is a bit big.

:rolleyes: i think this piece is a bit more deserving than "the head is to big"

rambhat : really nice piece.. and great size ! is one thing to see it on a screen small but to realize that it is actually much larger is really nice :) the light and rendering is really well done, and the composition works well for me.. althought there is a definite center focus my eyes are still moved around the piece from teh shapes and forms in the shadows and other objects. what medium is this?

anyway great piece i think. :chug:

Great piece. It does have a couple of minor things, but all in all. It rocks! :rock:

guys, this drawing is very impressive in real life....trust me. digi pic doesnt do it justice. Go RAAAAAAAAAAAM! scad represent. life force fo life.

whatever is wrong with this piece only adds to it's beauty.... any distortion makes it that much better... definite style here and has to be really fun to view in person! Got any more?

I will say first that it is truely impressive to take on the challenge of representing the room... as well as the models...

Besides the proportion issues, etc... that just get better with time, my real issue is the central placement of the figures... and not just that, it seems that it is divided into three pieces... more of a tryptic (sp?) than a single piece... Once it is more unified, and comes together as one, the small flaws will be ignore...

All in all excellent job...

nice drawing, but it feels a little grayed out. it could use more contrast, for sure. remember that things are either in dark (7-10) or in light (1-3). too much inbetween value makes your drawing a bit muddy. look at how much more striking your drawing is with more brightness and contrast in photoshop. you should try to draw this way.

Have you ever really studied Art?...cause you obviously have no idea what your talking about ...

Nicodemus: this piece is a study on life, we are here to get better. What Treb said is known to artist as CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISM...the piece is very impressive but it has its mistakes..to avoid repeating them we get critism...critism is more than "yeah nice piece, i love the color" that doesnt help much but when u say something to improve upon it, is when the artist realizes and fixes any little mistakes.

rambhat: impressive! treb is right the head feels too big, the figure on the left, the top of the torso isnt very convincing..but very well done piece...keep em coming
