This is my first attempt with Painter. And i must say, i LOVE it!
It reminds me of the days as i used to work with oils and dirty old brushes of my father.
Here i tried to exaggerate the strenght of the character by purposely leaving the details out and keeping it really fast but still give all the information needed.
I hope you like it and, as always, feel free to drop a comment.
Best,
Khan

I love it! Its like ethnic meets...uh the word eludes me! Perhaps you could have taken the white marks a little further down and worked in the bottom just a touch more.Otherwise frame that bad boi! Good job!

Nice modeling of facial features. I wouldn't however call this a finished piece. But yeah, I have no doubt that you'll have a blast with painter. The more you play around with it, the more you'll realize just how versitile of a tool it is. Keep at it.

Dr Strange_Days: thank you very much!
Exo: I was leaving this piece rough with purpose and actually concidered it as finished. I think that indications of the brush strokes are often more expressing then over-rendered painting.
But, easy. No big deal, mate.

It looks very cool! ^^
You made it look very real. My question is, "is there a backround"? It looks like there was something there, but now it's blue. Hmm ... ^^
