Hello all,
I just got back from San Diego and I thought I would post the sample that I brought down and showed there. I would love to hear some comments and crits if anyone has the time.
Peace,
GL

Really nice. I do not know who the hero is (I guess I just don't recognize him, maybe a newer hero than I am familiar with?) However, the details are wonderful, EXTREMELY GOOD pencils! :) Good luck!

SUP greenlantern-
bad ass!! good to see you posting here, and with some of your strongest stuff yet. I like the way this one reads, it's pretty clear to me what's happening, easys to follow, and the overall drawing is good (except for that one area Mike pointed out where she is doing the split-kick). I find the shot of 2-face a little bland at the end - it seems you could have done more with it, or used a more imposing camera angle. But yeah man, this is really tight and very "Chad" looking. =)
Oooh I wish you were drawing a certain comic..I think you know the one I mean. ;)

I think you're overusing the long horizontal panels. On page one they set up a nice rhythm of anticipation, but they don't work as well for the action sequences.
The last panel revealing Two Face has to go. You set everything up and then... pfffft. Just a little head floating in a big white box. Maybe crop way in so his face almost fills the panel?

Wow,
So many replies so quickly. I am flattered. The last panel I have to say, shamefully, was not actually finished due to lack of time. This is also why I posted these after the con and not before. I know that showing something and then saying it is unfinished when someone points out a flaw is very unprofessional and a lame excuse to boot. But what can I say, deadlines are the devil. I am building a website and the pages will see some review before being put up on there, .
I really appreciate the kind words and the crits, the more creative minds involved in this the more I can grow.
Thanks again.
GL.

I'm not really into comics, but I enjoy these. Incredible skill. Must have taken some hours...
I only noticed one thing, in the third pic, on the third panel, with the guy who gets his expensive shades messed up. The perspective on his gun is bad, and made me read it as a coffecup for a moment.
Impressive work!

Great pacing and action! The cape looks a little weird in the first panel, and the last one of Two-Face needs something. The panel is so empty, maybe add some speed lines? Good job though.:rendered:

Outstanding comic pages. Great story-telling and sense of design. In the immortal words of the Zig commander: "You know what you doing!"

Manzingo you guys are all making me blush. Thanks for the crits too, I am revamping this before I launch my website, so I will try to fix the little things so that this really sings! Thanks so much for you help; Elwell, Lone Wolf, and Cloister.
