Sup everyone,

Last week of school, and I haven't been able to draw much lately. I did manage to finish these two drawings:

http://home.attbi.com/~darciocida/Tripod.jpg

-The Tripod beasts. These once peaceful, lumbering giants were taken from the wilds of their home planet. The evil kidnapers attached a control bridge to the creature's skull's, therefor controling the creature's mind. By using them as walking tanks, the evil army attacks Earth! *sinister laughter*

..lol, sorry. That one was inspired by awesome War of the Worlds book.

http://home.attbi.com/~darciocida/LaserBot.jpg

-The Laser Robot. Fast, stealthy, and it snipes key targets with its high-frequency pulse laser.

What do you think? Comments and sugestions are welcome.

I got two more coming up, once I finish them.

-btw, why did one of my scans come out good and the other greyish?

wow,cool creatures:)
just one thing:the car should explode instead of just begin to burn there.
like that one in the background:)
oh yes,and the trees should have shadows too;)

oh,and on that second pic it's impossible to make out where the gun ends and the laser begins.
great details on this one

just my two cents:)

Thanks for the kind remarks!

enoc- tnx!

Canifex- I see what you mean about the laser. How could I fix that up? And now taht u meantioned it, the trees definatly need a shadow.

michael see- I wish I knew how to. Then I'd animate them and make them walk around. That would kick ass.

I really love that second pic. Is there any chance that you would be willing for me to model it in the challenge forum at simplymaya.com? the challenge is here: http://forums.simplymaya.com/showthread.php?threadid=6056

I cant draw so it would be good to work from a really cool concept piece like this, you will of course recieve all the credit for the original artwork. :)

Let me know if that's ok so I can get started

Cheers
