Hey everyone,

Well, ive recently been making a signature using photoshop cs2 / imageready cs2, The animation itself is done, just a simple layer that scrolls over a background, but the saving part is the problem. (In imageready) when i try to save the image using "Save optimized as.." i get these options

All of which give a message about Imageready not supporting animated gif's despite all the tutorials ive seen so far showing this as the way to save your image, any idea on how i can save my animation? Im stuck :blah:

Thanks.

Well, for my problem anyway :D I found that the optimize saving settings were set for JPEG images, which do not support animated images (or atleast imageready was telling me)

1. Simply: Window-->Optimize to see the optimize options window, this was off by default for me.
2. By default again for me this was set to JPEG, and also the problem
3. Change the Format to GIF
4. New options also available, toggle with them to see what suites your image best, and that should now let you save optimized files as .gif's

Not much of a tutorial but it might help someone
