the gesture drawing is pretty nice but i think the color version just seems to fall apart a bit. Partly due to painting style but mostly due to that background. its way to dominant and overpowering against the figure. I think it would be dope in an environment...even a loose suggested one, not fully rendered. Also that shadow...come on man...don't get lazy on us now. I think it has some real potential. I think even having some of the linework from the gesture drawing would even be fresh here....well...there's my 2 pennies.
