Wanted to know what you guys think of my concept work. Also, these are my first photoshop paintings so I'd like some critiques on my technique

#2 with the bug underbelly is a great idea. I almost wish the arms were also more buglike (think mantis).

great stuff but they're really blurry and pixely.. I donno why they're so blurry..

low Jpeg quality/compression ratio, you can tell if you look at the edges.

I especially like the design on the first one. The coloring however is somewhat lacking (as the jpeg compression). Why is there a drop shadow if the lightsource is coming from below?

Are you normally working with natural media? It seems this one is scanned (judging from the line at the bottom) and the lack of contrast.
