hi everyone. this is my newest work. 100% photoshop and wacom, even the original sketch was drawn in photoshop.
i would like some critics on it please(especially on the colours and light).
school has ended for me. been slacking for a weeks since. but now i have decided to put all my time to good use and do more artworks.

Since you got more than a hundred views and no comments... I give you a tip that you might find helpful when dealing with shadows and thats is that you could take thing thats are similar to the one you have in your pic like a wooden cylinder with a plate on it for the mushroom and so on.. put this stuff as they relates in the pic then use a tablelamp as the sun. then you get a better grip on how the shadows fall. Keep it up man

I definitely like the light situation. Looks great.
I dont really know what bothers me on your pic...
Maybe its the skin of the gnome...it looks like bronze.
Also the rendering on the shroom is too blurry, i think...
nah, the pic is cool - go on!

good good pic, dont let replies bum u down.
keep at it, move on, do more get betr and they will come... they always come.
as far as this one goes.. i have no problem except for the gnome.. in a variety of areas...
the golden bracelet.. thing.. whatever on his right arm seems to be... severely cutting his circulation off. if its really that tight fine.. but i dont think that the arm should be getting skinny in the center. also the lighting on his face makes him look like Beavis got his skull knocked in right in the center... maybe im just imagining the problem... and maybe its the proportion to the rest of his body. If gnomes are meant to be.. homan-ish. he looks a tad frail... good work. but i wouldnt spend too much time deliberating. move forward. tree is excellent, im envious of that indeed. peace - ry
