Hi all, I'm pretty new here.Probably I've been browsing this forum a lot looking at some great photograph shot by people around here. So I hope by posting I will be able to learn and improve my skills in photography and other factor if possible. Please do not hold back any criticism just shoot if its bad. Thanks you.

side note: This photographs are actually 2 images merge into 1 because I actually did it for my school project and its all black and white. Hopefully the next set of photos will be in colour and not edit in photoshop. :)

hey,

i found the text on them annoying until i read them and like the idea of adding a small caption text makes come to life alot more. i dig the second one with the guy near the tree, it toke me awhile o relize, same with the first, is there people on the beach? it might just been my screen though.

i checked you blog and again have some really cool black and white shots. i think the one with your shadow could be used in the CA photographers copetation which this weeks theme is "shadow", so yeh itd fit perfectly.

nice work and welcome

thanks a lot jonton. Nope its not a beach its a view from my flat that let you see the next country. I don't think I would be entering the compeition because the shadow shot is the only picture not take by me...so yar i think its not very right to take my friends pic for a compeition :}

Nice pics. I, too, found the text, or rather the placement thereof, annoying even after I read it. It makes the pic seem like a Inspirational Postcard or something. I have no problem with the words themselves, I guess (aside from them being bumper sticker material), but I preffer text that does not interfere with the image. Maybe in the frame or bottom, or somewhere where its less obtrusive.
