Hey is it recommended to pursue a masters in Industrial Design? Or can you get a job fairly easy with just a BFA?

I would think that depends on your desired job and interests. A master generally gets you a better job especially if the master you choose has some future perspectives.

No one has ever asked me for my degree.

Your portfolio will secure you the job first & foremost. I have NEVER heard of anyone in the ID field getting a better job because of an MFA. But I would highly recommend at least a BFA because of corporate & HR demands to have degreed employees.

Get the MFA one of these days if you ever have desire to teach at a certain level but beyond that, I have never heard of anyone getting perks from it.

Hey thanks! My friend told me of a relative of hers who took online courses to get her MFA, & once she did that she got a raise in her job. But this was in Taiwan so it might be a little different there. Thanks alot!

That's not to say that some people don't get raises for having an MFA but in our field, take a look out there and see how many actually have MFAs. The concept arts field is more of a portfolio based profession.

And who knows? Maybe in Taiwan they pay on a different scale than they do here in the US.
