Wow, there is a lot of work involved here. I applaud the effort. However, the one issue you must contend with, especially with pointalism, if that of value. You need to establish your darkest darks along with your light and your midtone. Here, you have a light tone, a lighter tone, and your lightest tone. You need to establish more darks, then these images will be more successful.

I guess I don't get why you don't just leave them as india ink studies. I don't see any benefit to "cheating" a pointillism effect. The large black areas start to pattern, making it very obviously fake. It's really just a sort of filter that isn't helping the artwork any. There isn't a good value range to these studies in the first place. Worry about basics like anatomy, value and composition before trying to make something fancy with effects.

Tex said it all… Make sure you have some nice solid lines before you try and use “effects”
I personally don’t care that its faked, but I think there are a few things that could make this more effective. The first one needs contrast… and a lot of it. It’s very hard to see. The second one is a much better work. The shoulders, and breast are out of place, and you could work on the hair more. You should do the technique by hand before trying to simulate it, you will have a much great appreciation for it, not to mention hand drawings if done correctly tend to turn out better then a simulation. Good Luck, and keep drawing.
