The mountains look like a thong between two pimply butt cheeks with, 'ahem', something falling out from the middle. Otherwise very cool. I would've made the desert area stand out just a bit more. It makes me want to go exploring.

besides the whole thong issue, i find that its empty and lacks buildings. well i can only find a castle and one big tree, and thats it for exciting objects. i wouldn't wonna explore anything there because of the lack of things.

the thing that looks like a volcano looks tiny in comparison to the trees. also each mountain is as big as tree. that really doesnt make sense. mountains ranges are generally full of huge mountains

HAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh my god, that was the funniest comment I've heard about anything in a LONG time. I'm afraid I have to agree, although you said you had no control over the shape. :D
Aside from that though, I like it.

It's pretty cute, though I do have to agree about the scale of mountains vs trees and it needs more stuff. It's also missing something important: where's the sea monster? What kind of medieval map doesn't have a sea monster? :P
I like the colours and the textures of it, overall it's pretty awesome, what did you use, watercolour?

thanks for the crits and comments guys. yes i had some strictly visions from the clients of it. they don´t wanted more things on it because they said this continent is in it´s early stage so, my job was put the details in it , and at least the were very pleased with it:) i´ve also took a look like maps from lotr. oblivion, morrowind for inspirations.. this is something for an rpg game. ( but i´m still ashamed bout it)
there was a seamonster but my buddie forgott to put it in ( it was abig fat whale)
