an idea i had while looking thru some train station photos. not sure it's 100% finished, but this is as far as i can take it for now, perhapse some suggestions would help.

Woah! I like how the blue lights from within the train ratiate over the rest of the picture... simply awesome lighting! How long did this take you?

hey guys, thanks for the feedback:) i just found this board a week ago, the variety and level of the works here are simply amazing. such a cool place...
this one is painted in photoshop and painter8(which i'm trying to learn). This started out as a painter sketch exercise and later finished off in photoshop. took about 30 hours. So far it seems to give a better result than my old pencil&photoshop method. i'll post more work here when they're done.

Nice work. No crits at all. Love the foreground figure. There's something archaic about the pipe and/or the way he's holding it that really makes you do a doubletake. Like he could be on a train platform in late 19th century Shanghai or something. Cool.
Looks like you and Khangle81 should collaborate...this looks like it'd be right at home in his book project.
