The best Xbox games

Seeming xbox :360_old: is coming to an end i'd like to no what are the best games ever on the console and maybe why!? Like halo 2 and its cool multi player and dual wielding etc. Hopefully you guys might convince me into buying a new game for mine before the 360:xbox: takes over.....

Ninja Gaiden- Best action game.

Kotor- Best RPG. (on PC too)

Soul Calibur 2- Best fighter.

Panzer Dragoon Orta- Best Rail-Shooter

Crimson Skies- Best Flying game

Splintercell Chaos theory- Best stealth action.

Ninja Gaiden is a b!tch of a game though.

How bout Halo 1? Its way better the H2. I just finished playing through it again on Legendary and it was a blast.

A couple good games you could pick up cheap for the xbox would be

Psychonauts and Beyond Good And Evil.

Those two stand out for me as really good xbox games.

Thanks! Mmmmm yea halos great but my grandad has beaten them literaly! on easy though. But the higher difficulties are intense! Ive got both KOTORs but ruined the second one with walkthroughs! yeah my grandad has an x-box.... AH A NewZealander er rock on?

Oblivion isnt on the original xbox unfortunatley.

You can get some great bargains if you know what to get.
I bought psi ops few months back for 4 pounds and its a pretty fun game too.
Ninja gaiden is probably one of my fav xbox games being very challenging. But if your not keen on fidly stuff then you might get irritated.
Hulk ultimate destruction is pure fun!!
otogi 1 and 2 are awsome games great visuals. Probably my favourites of the lot.

Ninja gaiden black is near the top of the best games of all time.
Psychonauts and KOTOR 1 are excellent games as well.

Burnout was also suprisingly great. I'm not a fan of driving games but that game was so much fun.

A game you probably won't beleive is great but is, is a little game called Fusion Frenzy. The graphics make your eyes bleed, and it's just a bunch of party games. But man are they fun on a bun. Play Twisted Systems with three friends and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Also, it was on a lot of systems, but San Andreas played best on the Xbox. And San Andreas was San Andreas. What an amazing game...

I've heard Pshyconauts was good. Guess I need to check it out.

Dooms pretty good for xbox, if you don't have a killer pc to play it one.
It actually includes all the original dooms of the past to which you can play through coop or deathmatch style.

This is kind of sad, I can't think of any games that stand out in my mind as being killer for the xbox right now...hmmm...For my PS2 I can think of tons.

a launch title sequel to a dreamcast pioneer of cel shading. the art, and general game, was lovely.

skate around neo-tokyo and bury the city in paint.

another lesser known title thats really good is "Phantom Dust".
its like a real-time strategy version of Magic: the gathering (except sci-fi).
really fun, great multi-player, and totally addicting.

NINJA GAIDEN is by far one of the best games ever made.... Having that said and also I compleated the game several times, some of the boss action is a bit repetative and booring, so is the story, the story is totaly stupid... But the graphics and action is so full on. I remmeber seeing it in the demo movies and it doesnt really do it justice cuz you really got to feel the perfect contol of it to understand the joy of going up against a gang of ninjas....

Ninja Gaiden Black on the other hand was only a rip off I think, same story mode again and the rest of it, was basicly imposible missions off hamering this and that boss...

Another game that made me buy the xbox in the first place in fact the main reason was ssx3.
Its ofcourse the blockbuster supernatural snowboard game from EA and I just love the voiceovers (beeing Alegra) and the graphics and the music. Its all over the top and a joy to play!

I also enjoy fifa 06, but just for playing with friends...

Anyhow Planing on buyng my next console....
With PS3 failing in price, blueray and exclusive titles, (there also releasing another version of the ps2 now... wft?) and xbox burning up with the red ring of death. Wii would seem like the only console working properly atm...
But Not sure I would be happy with it only playing mario and such...
A bit chilish still isnt it? and the grapics etc is a bit oldschool already too isnt it?

So I guess Ill stick to art for now and maybe just find some old mame shit for my powerbook for now... huh?
