Hi, my partner and I (a writer and an artist) are looking for a very talented Colorist/ Letterer that can keep up with our style and help us with a gangster comic we are hoping to submit to Image Comics. We have About 11 pages of our fist issue of this Gangster comic that we will be preparing to submit soon and would need colored and lettered. We are hoping to find a very hard working, determined and very serious person who is willing to give it their all to break into the comic industry.
We will be supplying the applicant with 1 or 2 sample pages which we would ask the individual to color and letter and then we will make our decision judging from the work.
We can not offer any money at this point but are willing to split the profits of the book when published 40 /40/ 20. 20 percent of the profits will go to the colorist we choose. Please only very disciplined and serious people please apply.
Please email me at john_smith206@hotmail.com with samples of your work and entitle the email “Gangsta Gangsta.” Please list any education you might have, pervious works, the process in which you color (ie: Computer coloring or hand coloring or both.) Also a little about yourself as a person as well, such as interests, hobbies and resumes are always welcome.
