Coooool Killer Napkins, this show's loads of improvement man. congratulations.
Btw.. I prefer the 'tube' watercolors myself.. as opposed to the solid 'cake' kind. Its just easier for me to mix larger amounts of paint that way for big washes.

First off, i think the lower jaw on your fox looks cool. It pops.
As for good water colors, shit i still sometimes use those cheap ass ones that you get at the grocery store! I got some tubes though too. I think the brand to get is Grumbacher or Winsor & Newton are gooda too. You should just move to oils though, they look cooler, thats a fact not opinion, heheh.
And now for my tip, dont go complete black (shaodw area) in water colors, its just too dark, mix some brown and other colors. Water color is suppost to be soft looking.
good luck

Nice One!
For the question about watercolors I would recommend Schmincke artistīs colours. You can get them in students quality (still a very good quality) and artists quality (very fine pigments - I think the name of the brand is "Horadam"). Both are available in solid form and in tubes. Iīm not sure if you get them in the U.S. but I remember american people posting and discussing about them.
Hope this could help

thanks guys.. thanks for the help.. ive never tried oils.. but if its like any other type of paint, like acryllic or tempera, i will probably suck at it.. the closet thing to oils that we did in art class was an oil pastel drawing then we painted over it with turpenoid .. which kinda liquified the pastel.. but that turned out pretty good considerning the amount of time i did it in.. ha .. but i may try them tubed oil stuff sometime.. thanks again..
