I am Interested In Going to school.*help please

But, I really do not want to move out of state, I live in Michigan. I have been led to believe that the art programs here aren't for what im interested in, "illustration and or concept art for games".

I'm really looking for some online classes. I've looked at AIonline , but I'd like some opinions on it. It seems that If I were to take their "game" courses I would be lacking the illustration I want.


Moving near dallas texas is also available to me to if anyone knows of a school down there please let me know.

Also if anyone knows any great online programs that include illustration in their programs.

Oh great, I feel like some Pavlovian dog now...ring the bell & I'll drool with such regularity now!

But yeah, if you're interested in staying in the state or in the midwest, I'd highly suggest CCS. We've been placing handfuls of our Illustration AND Industrial Design grads into the work force out there in concept games, movies & enertainment fields. Currently we're also celebrating our Centennial so imagine about 100 years worth of graduates & alumni that we can pull in advice from. And rather than have me rattle on and on about the place, scope out the website that Whizbang was so nice to have called up and if you have any questions about the place (good or bad), ask away. I'm not afraid to be perfectly frank and honest about the place.

Art School? Illustration? Midwest? That makes me very interested. Say, Dave, is CSS generous in scholarship money? I'm a high school senior looking for art schools which are good in illustration.
