He maybe a very expensive D'buuk, imported half way across the galaxy, and he show off Lucretzia De Borger's wealth, but it simply cannot hold an umbrella properly, and Lucretzia's niece, Jonnatella, is getting wetter and angrier by the moment.

Didn't Luis Royo once make a painting of some thing like this topic?
I think I recall a painthing of a golem holding a cape over a nude girl.
Hmmm... I'll make my sketch later.

i love the clown, i think the master's cloak should extend down a little bit more but its a good sketch, I think.
Still learning painter, if anyone has any good resources on color in painter, I would really appreciate it.

i was thinking of something along the line of the slave creature protecting his master from a different kind of downpour:\

MrDigs--
2 quick things I noticed. The perspective angle on the rikshaw aren't consistant (which makes it look a little wonky)
and the shading isnt consistant which makes it see as if you didn't make decision about your light source. be brave...
quick and very dirty paintover.... hope you don't mind

chaosrocks - thanks for the reply - think i lost the perspective on the rickshaw trying to make it sit properly with the slave character, when really I should've just redrawn the slave correctly!...I'm gonna need to work on my perspective stuff.
No worries about the paintover, i appreciate the pointers, hadn't even noticed the inconsistent shadowing !

Hey All,
This is my first submission as well as trying my hand at painting in this style. I would totally like feedback and tips. I just stumbled across this site and have wasted more time at work than I'd like to admit... Also, sorry this is late. I just saw the sketch section and this idea came to mind...

So I'm late too, but I was gone on a camping trip! But here's my entry anyway.
When the Elven Princess decides she needs to do some thinking, her servants don't say "What?" they say, "Where?" This time, it was in the Rain Gardens:
