This is pretty awesome, but its kinda looks like it unfinished, like the neck for example.

The concept of the dragon tattoo is great!

No time to explain because thats not yours you idiot.

You painted over a 3d image. Way to go. Your really talented. Why dont you at least credit the original artist, and then say you traced it in photoshop. You'd get better replys.

I have the original image on my drive at home i'll post it after work. I'm sure others have seen the 3d image. I had thought it was from Stephen Stallberhg. But I cant find it on his website.

Bah.

You weren't, by any chance, inspired by Den Beauvais's piece called Genjiskua, were you?

Ahh fuck it, I'll respond now.

I saw this pic 2 years back at Anime Expo 2001. There was this software company that had this pic up on one of their exhibit booths. I saw it, grabbed a postcard with this pic on it then, went home and drew it in pencil. That was in 2001. I was looking thru my drawings the other day and just decided to photoshop it. My line sketch of it was in a plastic sleeve with the "postcard Thingy" in there as well. I'm still learning how to use photoshop so I decided to see if I could replicate it. I meant nothing by it. just an innocent CG attempt for myself.

I would've given credit to it's artist but, I honestly don't know who that is unfortunately.

Oh and painiac, No I did not just trace over the exact 3D image. I actually had to do this by hand from a line drawing. (I have PSD file if ya wanna see) But ya I agree with you on how I should've explained the situation. I just didn't have time earlier today. (come to think of it, I could get in trouble for being online now. LOL)

Hope that addresses everything?

Gotta go!!

thanks, Pat Duke. I'm locking this thread so the flame war doesn't get too big, but i'll say what everyone wants to say
