WIP, what needs fixing? The lower girls hair was the last thing I did and I did it quickly. Almost ready for inking...

the second's head doesn't look very much like a girls...even for being more of an animal
and the cloth in front of the other's face looks too flat, even for a cloth;)

lookin good
i like the 2nd girls hair
the helmet on the first girl is cool but you may want to re-think the area where the helmet and fore-head meet--it seems like an extension of her head as opposed to an object on top of her head--but its not a big deal you can paint in some mass or whatevs
also her feet are hiding in the netherworld of the others girls back end
i like the pic though--what about a bg?

for the girl in the back:
Her neck looks kinda odd.. like its all stretched on the sides.. and too thin... as in wide..
Her hip box seems like it is larger than her rib cage.. Her arms seem rediculously long, but that is okay for the animalistic reason.. looks kinda cool.. I agree that her cloth seems a little flat on her face.. but that can be fixed when you paint it.
girl in front:
face looks really masculin, I guess thats okay since its a lioness thing..
her left arm looks really oddly bent.. maybe striaghten that out a little. I think her hair actually looks okay. I dont know why her right boob hangs lower than her left when her right shoulder is higher than her left.. might want to fix that..
All in all though, cool idea.. great shading! always love your sketches.. very cool!
good luck, I wanna see this finished!
peace.

carnifex - thanks I thikn you're right about the veil. I just realized that it's basically symmetrical. I got the lower girls face from a photo, and the translation is still a little wierd, but it looks like her, so..?
ty - I tried to figure out how the back girls foot might be seen but had to stretch it out to do so. I'll see if I can't get something to look realistic cuz I agree it looks a little wierd without her feetsies. The helmet (I hope) will end up clearly NOT a part of her flesh, it's a whole different material. I'll make sure to throw some shading and hilites on there when painting though :)
BG I was thinking maybe some chains on the floor..? Or a wierd iconographic emblem of lips and spikes and ish like that. Not sure what to do. I know I don't want to paint in a full-on realistic scene for them though.
deth - thanks. I see what you mean about the neck, funny how you can stare at something so long that you miss things. I had to make it up and the veil is screwing with it, etc.
For the lower girl her arm is like that in the photo, you ever leaned on one arm and turned it around? Sometimes your elbow goes the wrong way :p Her boob I will make sure is ok when I ink it. Thanks again.
