Don't feel as if you have to do humans, lord knows there are already too many character designers out there, but outstanding vehichle designers don't come along very often - I'd encourage you to push yourself with vehicle designs.

Nice vehicles.

This is a really minor quibble, but the yellow text on the vehicle doesn't seem to be affetced by shadow. I think making the 2 Ls a slightly slightly darker shade would work.

Or maybe I'm just crazy.

Anyway, nice stuff.

Your right, im tryin to get my vehicles up....but, im still struggling with it. mainly because, on EVERY tutorial i find, they discuss how to do the vehicle, but they SKIP the basic part. how do youy line up the perspective? i mean, i know the basics......but i need a detailed help with the very first 5 minutes of the drawing. if you could help me out today sometime (preferably now, because usually when people say , ima do that later today, it doesnt happen"

Types of Gladiators

Andabatae wore helmets without eye holes
Catervarii did not fight in pairs, but several together
Dimacheri fought with two swords
Equites fought on horseback
Essedarii fought from chariots like the Gauls and Britons
Hoplomachi were like the Samnites, but more heavily armed
They wore ocrea on both legs and mail or leather cuirasses
Laqueatores used a noose to catch their adversaries
Meridiani fought in the middle of the day, after the wild beast fights
They were lightly armed
Myrmillo wore a large galea with a fish on its crest, a manica of mail, leather or metal scales on his left arm, ocrea on at least one leg, a scutum and a straight Greek-styled sword
Ordinarii were the regular gladiators who fought in pairs in the ordinary way
Provocator was armed like the Samnite with a parma and a hasta, his opponent was often the Myrmillo
Retiarius wore a subligaculum and a metal galerus on the left arm
He carried a net, a dagger and a trident or tunny-fish fascina
The Samnite used scutum and ocrea on his left leg, a galea with a large crest and plume, and a gladius
The Secutor carried a large oval or rectangular shield, an ocrea on his left leg, a round or high-visored helmet, manicae at the elbow and wrists, and a sword or dagger
Thracian wore ocrea on both legs, a small square shield, a helmet, a sica or the Thracian sword.

i found it some where on the net i wanted to share it to you peoples, sorry for guys who already know it

Very impressive ship designs, I'm also loving the trees. I'd like to see much dirtier digital work, your process seems so clean you're afraid to experiment digitally the same way you do in pencils. Work in large brushes, pretend you're drawing with a mitten on :) I think the more opportunities you give yourself to experiment and be spontaneous, the more likely you are to find good ideas.

Hey man, thanks for dropping by my sb.
Your mechanical designs blew my mind, the painted ones have a very industrial design feel to them. Your organic (trees and rocks) enviros are looking sweet too. And from your last batch of anatomical drawings I can tell that you improved a lot in that deparment.
My only crit: try to make your watermark smaller, it's really annoying in some of your pics. Usually is more likely that they could steal your idea more than the image itself.
Thumbs up :D

Really great looking things here - like how you combine human anatomy into your mechanical designs: really adds to them. Would love to see some of these concepts in a piece where something is happening, like a battle scene or something - would look great!

I really like your vehicle designs! The thumbnails show you have many ideas. They all are nicely drawn, but the black pencil and fineliner ones look the best. The anatomy studies show great progress aswell. I'd advice you to practice a bit more on material indication, although the one in post 140 is very nicely done. Also try using less colour dodge/dodge tool. The effect is nice, but it's a bit overdone in my opinion.

Thanks for stopping by. The way you use color on a lot of your designs reminds my of classic sci-fi/ fantasy illustrations. I think I actually like your little environment sketches the best, like in post 181, and there were some cool tree ones earlier. A lot of your color work seems to have some issues with value and saturation. Maybe think about using these elements to guide the eye a little more, since right now the presumed focal point of many of your images is getting too much competition from other high contrast and/or high saturation areas in the composition.

definately love your pencil sketches of those machines and environment, they are top, but when you render them you seems depend too much on photoshop fuction, from your sketches I feel you understand light very well, but in your rendering things are a bit over saturated and a lot of great shapes are covered, just my personal feeling looking for more!
