Is cool, the only thing that concerns me is the system´s performace while using this apparently heavy desktop.

ooooo... more eye candy. Too bad it serves little purpose than to "customize" a cluttered desktop.

I think this is a great way to make using a computer a more organic process.

of course it's not for everyone, but I could see apple adopting a technology similar to this, and for anyone with a tablet pc this makes a lot of sense.

I just think it's great to see the desktop reinvented, it's something we've pretty much come to call standardized, so seeing some innovation is really neat.

Like someone in the comments said, it's for tidy people. If you're sloppy anyway, you don't care HOW sloppy. But for people with a liiiiittle bit of a neurosis (like me aligning things 90° to the borders of a desk), it's a godsend. I'm looking forward to seeing this realized in some systems (which will possibly never happen, there are way too many sloppy people).
