what colors or ways is there to make a gun on photoshop? I'm making a dectective walking down a hall gun ready but i cant get the colors right. Please help?!

File > Automate > Weapons... > New > Projectile Weapon, select 'Heckler and Koch USP Match', Quality 'best'

Just search the internet for images of firearms and take them as reference!

local color and texture (what kind of materials make up your gun? all metal? wood & metal? chrome? plastic?) > highlights & shadows (is you gun shiny or matte? cast shadows of the gun holder on the gun itself? etc.) > ambient lighting and color (other light sources in your scene that will help clue viewers in to the forms of your gun)

Image adjust as needed.

Otherwise look for reference images to help you visualize the components.
