Finally started working with my new Wacom tablet, and here's the wip.

The original sketch was scanned in and now I'm coloring it in Photoshop (love using my pressure sensitive pen instead of my mouse!). Been focusing mainly on the face but have started blocking in colors on the body and clothes, but not much of the highlights or darkest darks.

Having some trouble with the neck. And I'm not too sure that I've got the right foot positioned right. Might be something I need to fix as I'm going along.

The background will eventually be a castle-like inner courtyard, another sketch I'm drafting up at the moment and will be working on this weekend.

Your comments and feedback would be most appreciated!

Thanks,

t

ouch,she has broken her toes;)
when you test on yourself you will remarque that it's impossible to bend your toes like this(her left foot o.c.)
and lighten up the coloured one
it's impossible to make out the second foot(her right)
and the fingers on the opened hand get a little bit lost in the clothing.also, she looks as if she's gonna fall over at evry moment
make the pose more jump-alike or get it more secure.the way she is now she can't keep her balance very much i think.nice sketch;)

Broken toes, heh. Actually I did pose in that position myself to help figure out how to position the fool's "sneaky stance": where the weight should be centered and how she might be balanced when caught in the middle of the movement. So I do know that my long girly toes can do the stance without breaking. :D

Just couldn't get a good view of the far foot so that's why it looks kinda stumpy. I need to get one of my friends to hold still long enough so I can sketch it out again, I guess.

Thanks for your feedback!

I think Tatiana's right, it is possible to have your toes bend like that, it's just difficult drawing your own feet at that angle :3
