You have a very cool style and I thinks its great that you had the opportunity to redesign Hellboy.... but I think it's a shame that Mike Mignola's style wasn't used for the animation. Could you shed some light on the reason that his style wasn't used.

britt- mignola specifically said he did NOT want someone to ape his style. i didn't realize that going into it when Tad Stones contacted me and asked me to try out. I did what I do, and that's interpret things differently, yet try hard to achieve the character's character. hope that helps :) Mike had seen my tryouts for Hellboy, Liz, and a Japanese monster, and he chose me.

You never stop to amaze me, that first one is fucking gorgeus. The only thing I can complain about is the rocks in the background, they look a little unfinished. But that doesn't really matters, as your Hellboy looks so cool. :^^:
